Struggling seems to be the toll of the dayHardships and troubles appearing as the only wayDespondency and hopelessness weighing heavy on your heartWishing you had power to make it work, even if it’s just a partVery fast loosing hope of a future, ready to let go the wheelFeeling disgusted by the unending ugly feel Just when no strength is leftTo support the overwhelming heftWhen you are convinced that all is lostThat moment when you are ready to give up at all costThat’s when the heavens openWith instructions for you to begin the action! Too unfair, you always cryTears down your cheeks, pain like styShort of breath, left to only ask whyWhy the toil if there is nothing to showWhy the faith if everything is so slowWhy stand if that only gets you a blow “Life sucks” becomes the key word of your conversationStruck down, destroyed, cast out in eternal damnationFeeling like “the odd one out” of all God’s creation,With no power, no freedom, confused with no clueOf the way out, having forgotten Gods promises that remain trueAnd His unending love for you. So you finally make up your mind to let go the wheelHoping that someday you’ll get to healBut still dreading, If only you held on a little longerMaybe that would have changed your life and made you strongerOr maybe the pain would have hit you much harderSomething you’ll never know, left only to wonder.
